ah the gardens, the perfect place to settle under a tree or amongst a large shrub and do homework, talk to friends, or eat lunch. at mayfair college of the arts, we encourage students to take a step away from their air conditioning, video games, and television and sit back and relax outside and appreciate the beauty of the natural world.
named after the royal family that ruled before the windsors, the hanover building is dedicated to the exploration of the performing arts, such as dance, and music. if you are a performing arts major of any kind, your classes will be housed in this large building. the hanover building contains dance studios, classrooms and even recording studios for all of your performing arts needs.
every student must eat, though some clearly consume more than others. while the streets of london have numerous dining choices, students often find it much less time consuming to run to spencer cafeteria on campus and enjoy less expensive, delicious food prepared by the award-winning mayfair kitchen staff. the cafeteria is closed after hours, but students often manage to find their way into the kitchens for a midnight snack.
named after the famous tudor royal family, the tudor building is dedicated to the visual arts. if you are a visual arts major, that is if you are majoring in drawing, photography, or even graphic design, your classes will take place here. with state of the art graphics centers, art rooms, and dark rooms, the tudor building meets all the needs of the students that use it.
Named after one of the largest benefactors of the institution, the russell center is a state-of-the-art recreational facility for the students, faculty, and staff of mayfair college. at this comprehensive facility, you can exercise, swim, take classes, and even climb a rock wall. equipped with an indoor track and 2,000 square feet of weight lifting equipment and free weights, the russell center provides the students of mayfair college everything they need to avoid the weight gain usually associated with college.
the stuart theatre houses all of the drama majors at mayfair. there is, as is typical of all theatres, a large auditorium with seating and a stage for all school performances. as well as a maze of hallways containing classrooms and dressing rooms.
windsor hall, named after the current ruling family of england, is the building where the females of mayfair college live. dorms are available in 2 person and 4 person apartment style rooms. visiting hours are from 10 am until 2 am from monday until thursday, as it is necessary to claim your guests at the front desk before they can enter the hall. but from friday until sunday, students can claim guests whenever they please.
much like windsor hall, wessex hall is the building that houses the male students of mayfair that choose to live on campus. these dorms are also in apartment style, available with various sizes to accommodate different amounts of roommates. visiting hours are from 10am to 2am monday through thursday and 24 hours from friday to sunday.
the tube makes it possible for people to get all around london. it's not even necessary to have a car in this city because you can take the tube anywhere, and it costs significantly less than filling up a gas tank. plus, no fuss with parking a car!
created exclusively by the city's board of education for the students of mayfair college, the size of the club is huge, and depending on your preferred genre of music, there is a specific room catered exactly to your choices. each room has a bar, seating, a dance floor, with dj's to spin the grooves. directly above is the vip room, created for the royalty of mayfair college only. the walls of the vip room are, in fact, tinted windows that allow the royalty to observe every single room inside the club, without anyone ever knowing.
it's not really a circus, that is a common misconception. piccadilly circus ia large circular road junction that connects five of the major streets in london. there is great shopping here and it's almost always busy, so go ahead and stop in and take in the hustle and bustle of london.
with over 300 shops, oxford street is the busiest shopping street in all of europe. whether you need shoes or a coat, you can find it on oxford street. it can be overwhelming at first, since it is only about two and a half kilometres long and is jam packed with shops and people.
every city has history, but none quite as rich as that of london. because of its rich historical value, london is home to many museums showcasing various aspects of london's history and certain events in which london played a large role. so if you're in the mood for scholarly pursuits, there are many museums to choose from.
founded by sir thomas beckett, this hospital is a large nhs funded facility in london. it has provided health care freely or under charitable auspices since the 12th century, and is accessible from westminster tube station.
one of the largest parks in london, hyde park is home to many sites of local and international interest. with an overall area of 625 acres, there is always room to picnic, play frisbee, or just go for a walk around this magnificent area. hyde park is also a traditional stage for mass demonstrations, so it is nearly always an interesting place to be.
placed just around the corner from mayfair college are the rather illustrious rows and rows of apartments on park avenue. only a few minutes of walking from the school, they are the perfect place for students and professors alike to live if they prefer the quieter atmosphere of an apartment to the active dorm buildings.
named after the famous battle of trafalgar in the napoleonic wars, trafalgar square is a popular tourist attraction in the very heart of london. with statues and and sculptures on display, many frequent trafalgar square for the sheer beauty and history of it. however, since it is in such a prominent area, it is also a common site for political demonstration.
considered the 'inner-city' of london, camden is a very liberal, open, and cultural city. it is well known in popular culture for its liberal attitude and its marketplaces and has long been a centre for alternative culture.
the people of london love their football, and as such constructed the second largest stadium in all of europe to house their football games. though it primarily houses football games, wembley has also been known to host rugby games, concerts, and even one american football game.
though we sometimes choose to forget it and move on, it is often necessary and interesting to go back and roleplay out a scene from the past. this time machine will take you back to any time in your character's past.
as much fun as it is to roleplay to death a certain relationship or friendship in the present, sometimes it is much more interesting to skip ahead anywhere from a few months to a few years in order to fulfill a plot. after all, we can't be expected to roleplay in real time and really cultivate serious relationships that eventually lead to marriage.

let's be real, how often do we pay attention in class? often, it's necessary to doodle to keep yourself from falling asleep in the middle of lecture and missing those ever important footnotes in the teacher's powerpoint. often students find themselves tempted to write notes to their friends or even to strangers in order to supplement their learning experience. so grab a piece of paper and a pencil and get to writing!
